Who would have known that one day we would be tasked to do graphics for elevators. This was the case when a Lafayette Hospital wanted us to visit with them on a way to jazz up or add color to their elevators. After meeting with them we recommended diabond which is a rigid product that has a plastic core with an aluminum facing. We suggested applying a vinyl with a rugged overlam similar to a floor laminate that could withstand abuse from the rigors of a hospital elevator. This was the finished product. The job received many compliments from patrons of the hospital and their staff members. Who would have known that hospital elevators would open up new doors for large format graphics.
