Creating Outlines in Illustrator is always a suggestion we give to clients here at Pixus. When laying out designs in illustrator it is important to remember to apply “create outlines” to your type. This feature will preserve your type and the placement of it by transforming it from a text readable layer to a design element.( meaning the programs read it as a design rather than a type face) making it easy to transfer and open any where without the type being altered. This is very helpful being that not all systems have the same fonts. (How To): After you have chosen the particular fonts and laid them out then proceed with create outllines feature. Go to type on your top navigation bar and scroll down to create outlines.
